مساء الخير أريد الوصول إلى إلى أي أقرباء من عائلة البرادعي الموجودين في عكا لأني علمت من والدي أن أصولنا تنحدر من مدينة عكابالتحديد وأريد أن أصل لأي قريب فقط للتواصل والسؤال عن الأحوال هناك لأني لم أستطع الوصول للأراضي الفلسطينيه أبدا لأني أحمل الوثيقة اللبنانية . شكرا

استشهد محمد حسن بكري( ابو حسن)ب12/5/1948 على اسوار مدينة عكا وقد لبى نداء الوطن ... وتوجة سيرا من قريتة البعنة الى مدينة عكا التى احبها ليدافع عنها . وفعلا استشهد فوق بوابة عكا الجنوبية الشرقية ( فوق بناية المحكمة القديمة ) التى تجاور مرقدة اليوم ( مقبرة الشهداء او مقبرة النبي صالح علية السلام ) . وسميت المقبرة بمقبرة الشهداء نسبة الى الشهداء الابرار محمد جمحوم وفؤاد حجازي وعطا الزير اما الاسم الثاني لكون وجود مقام النبي صالح علية السلام في هذة المقبرة ( ويقال قبرة ). وجاهد حتى نفدت ذخيرتة ليتمكن رجال الهجاناة من قتلة . يحكى انة وفي هذة الموقعة استبسل الشهيد والحق الكثير من الخسائر بالجماعات المهاجمة لمدينة عكا وهذا على لسان شهود عيان عرب. اثبت ان من قام بدفن الشهيد محمد حسن بكري المرحوم عمر الملك ابن مدينة عكا اناذاك وتقديرا لهذا الشهيد دفنة لوحدة ..... وعندما هدأت الامور توجة اخ الشهيد علي بكري وزوجة الشهيد مع عمر الملك وارشدهم الى مكان دفنة وتعرفوا على هويتة من لباسة العربي الاصيل ( القنباز العربي ). لان زوجة الشهيد اصرت على الحفر من جهة القدميين وحفرت وتأكدت من جثمان الشهيد. معروف عن الشهيد انة رجل شجاع ومقدام ووطني من الطراز الاول .... ربى اولادة وعلمهم حب الوطن فأنجب بواسل امثالة ونخص بالذكر ابنة المرحوم حسن بكري ابو محمد والد الدكتور محمد بكري رئيس مجلس البعنة السابق وابنة المرحوم قاسم بكري والد الدكتور محمود بكري واحمد بكري قيادي في الجبهة الديمقراطية وجمال بكري ابو الوطن احد مؤسسيي التجمع الوطني الديمقراطي في منطقة الجليل ومن بين احفادة الممثل محمد بكري الدكتور عبد السلام بكري والدكتور هشام بكري والصحفي قاسم بكري صاحب جريدة صوت البلد والكثير الكثير من احفادة من نخب هذا الشعب العظيم .... بالاضافة لعائلة الشهيد ال بكري العريقة والمشهود لها من قبل ابناء شعبنا كعائلة وطنية .

I'm a doctoral student at SOAS in London, working on education in mandate Palestine. I am trying to find out who would have been the principal at the government secondary school in Acre during the late 1930s / early 1940s, and wondered if anyone here might be able to help! I also wonder if anyone knows whether Emile Habibi was at this school in Acre - I'm pretty sure he was, but haven't been able to find definite confirmation.

I recently discovered that the JNF-KKKL "Australia Park" so-called ...is located on all but totally erased/cleansed village of Mi'ar. As an australian taxpayer, I find this extremely offensive and wonder how many Aussie diaspora Jews are even aware of the history of the regions original inhabitants?? Salaams. Abu Zaki

Hi my grand parents left akka in 1948. They have both past away.. with them is the memory of our home and life in akka. That is painful to say.. i really would give anything to have a taste of our family life and history back there.

My father was born in Acre and was forced to leave with his family in 1948. I have never been to Palestine but I really hope to go one day. It would be nice to meet others in a similar situation, who want to visit Palestine and see the place where their parents/family are from.

I've traveled all over the world and was lucky enough to visit in many amazing cities and places on this planet ,but I could tell you this: there was no place like this breathtaking city of Akka,eventhough kinda small in size and space ,it still provides you with enourmous feelings of greatniss of ancient histories of great people,that still are even to date,the ancestors of the palestinian sailors,that ruled the see and inhabited the land of palestine...I was even overwhelmed by the friendliness and the hospitality of the people in the old section of Akka

Hello I live in australia sydney I am 34 years of age and I have been looking for my fathers family who live in acre. My father died when I was only 10 and I have never meet them or know where they live as my mother is Italian. Could someone that reads this find it in there heart to help me I have my fathers passport and other ID I would to find them and close the biggest door within my heart...Thank You
