مكتبة بتير العامة ؟ تضم بين ثناياها مئات الكتب والمراجع بالإضافة لعدد كبير من الكتب الجامعية الموصى بها لإتاحة الفرصة أمام الطلبة للدراسة وإعداد البحوث اللازمة. بالإضافة للكتب، يوجد أيضاً في هذه المكتبة قسم خاص بالكمبيوتر مجهز بأجهزة حاسوب وخدمة الإنترنت. تفتح المكتبة أبوابها ستة أيام في الأسبوع أمام جميع أهل القرية للمطالعة واستعارة الكتب المرغوبة. ومن الجدير بالذكر، يوجد في الطابق العلوي قاعة فسيحة للمحاضرات والندوات والاجتماعات العامة والنشاطات الاجتماعية الأخرى. تعتمد المكتبة نظام جون ديوي للتصنيف
Battir Public Library includes hundreds of books and references, in addition to a good number of mostly recommended university textbooks that give students an opportunity to study and prepare their required researches. Besides books, there is a computer section equipped with PCs and Internet connection. The library is open, six days a week, to all village people to read and borrow the desired books. It is noteworthy that in the upper floor, there is a spacious hall used for lectures, seminars, general meetings and other social activities. The library adopts John Dewy system for classification.
