بتير: The Cemetery of Battir مقبرة بتير

وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّـهِ وَرُسُلِهِ أُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الصِّدِّيقُونَ ۖ وَالشُّهَدَاءُ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ وَنُورُهُمْ

مقبرة بتير - حيث تواري تحت ثراها الطاهر رفات السابقين من الأهل والأقارب عبر القرون. ما من أحد مات هنا إلا و"الفسيلة" بيده ... بناؤون معطاؤون خيّرون وشهداء دفنوا مع أحلامهم وتطلعاتهم نحو غدٍ أفضل. فالروح البتيرية لن تموت وراية الخير والعطاء لن تسقط وستبقى تتنقل مرفرفة من جيل الى جيل عالية خفّاقة. وعلى أرواحهم الطاهرة، فلنقرأ "الفاتحة".
The Cemetery of Battir - where the human remains of our forefathers & relatives have been buried over centuries, none of whom had died with no "seedling" in his hand. Those open-handed, altruistic builders had prematurely passed away with a lot of unaccomplished hopes and aspirations for a better future. Therefore, the Battiri spirit will not die, nor shall the banner of benevolence and open-handedness ever decline. It shall remain hoisted high from father to son. To their noble, virtuous souls, let؟s recite ؟Al-Fătiĥah؟.
