Town's name through history The Crusades referred to Burayka by Broiquet.
Schools Burayka had a school which was founded during the Ottoman period in 1889, but was later closed during the British Mandate period.
Archeological sites The village had Khirbat Burayka which contained an artificial mound, probably dating back to the Byzantine Period.
