Posted by A.M. Shiblaq on March 11, 2008 #31356 Haifa has 2 railroad stations. This station was built during the Ottoman period in the early 1900's (1903?). It was located in the old business section of town and was referd to as the East Station. It built as part of the Hijjaz Rail Road system. As young boy I used to take the train from this station to go to Acca (Acre) a town accross the bay and short distance from Haifa. The other station was built during the British occupation period in the West part of Haifa.
