Village remains
after destruction by Israelis		 In June 1948, Yosef Weitz (a Jewish National Fund official) recommended Fajja's complete destruction. Based on his recommendation, the village was completely obliterated. It is very possibly one day, to hold JNF responsible in court for their terror acts.
Ethnically cleansing
by Israelis		 On 17th February 1948, some Haganah and lrgun terror gangs terrorized the villagers into fleeing. Fajja was completely ethnically cleansed on May 15th, 1948.

Schools Fajja had an elementary school for boys founded in 1922, and in 1945 it had an enrollment of 181 students.
Archeological sites Fajja was constructed over the remains of an archaeological site that contains fragments of columns (shafts and capitals), the foundations of buildings, and a cistern.

According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaining structures on the village land are:
"The village has been completely razed except for one house and a pond."
