Apologies for the previous comment. Two Olive Mills were functional at Dayr Aban, One belonged to Odah Family and Another belonged to Rashid Family. As for the stone I must search more to know to which olive mill it used to belong.
The Stone Mill for Olives belongs to the only Olive Mill at Dayr Aban that was owned by Abdel-Qader Rashid
حينما عثرنا على هذا المكان كنت في زيارة مع والدتي فاطمة عبدالله ابراهيم الى القرية سنة 1983 وقالت لي ان هناك بد للزيت في القرية بدأنا البحث عن المكان ولكن دون جدوى وحين أصرت الوالدة التي كان عمرها في 1948 18 سنة ارشدتنا الى المكان وبدأنا بتنظيفه الى ان عثرنا على فتحة بسيطة ومنها تسللنا الى البد وهي معصرة الزيت تعود ملكيتها الى دار عودة وهي عبارة عن مغارتين والجفت ما زال موجودا حتى هذه الساعة
