Schools	In 1947, 'Iraq Suwaydan shared an elementary school for boys with the nearby villages of 'lbdis and Bayt 'Affa, and when it opened its doors it had an an initial enrollment of 104 students.

Town Today

According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaining structures on the village land are:
"Cactuses and the remnants of a pool are visible. Two old village streets, one passing through the site and the other through the land, are clearly recognizable. The British police station is still in use and is now called Metzodat Yo'av."
